For seven years Raphael was head of the Geo Product Management team in Google EMEA, responsible for some of the largest global features on Maps, including Directions by car, public transportation, biking and walking and features like Street View. He lead the global emerging markets strategy and was the global privacy lead for Geo. Responsible for all cross functional work around the product (partnerships, data licensing etc.). Maps is one of Google’s few > 1bn user products.
Currently Raphael is leading a global team in Google Shopping to make sure that users find great products with the right information on Google, and that merchants are happy with their experiences. The mission is to create a win-win for users, merchants and Google around commerce searches on Google.
